Logistics
A big part of event planning, Startr Co. has the ability to research, manage and execute against all logistics for most small to mid-size events. Logistics can include location scouting and procurement, vendor management, decor, food, and beverage oversight, gift bag assembly, and much more. With an eye on making all parts of the event cohesive, and ultimately providing a positive experience on behalf of our clients, our team will oversee every detail to ensure that events are a success. In the case of larger events, Startr Co. can also act as a resource in managing any outside parties brought in to execute logistics.
Host Procurement
In some cases, events may benefit from hosts that can create a WOW factor and draw a crowd. Based on the client goal, Startr Co. can ideate on the perfect event host and conduct outreach to gauge interest. Hosts can include influencers, celebrities, chefs, and other types of experts who can lend credibility to an event. One a host has been identified, our team will work to negotiate all deliverables and terms of the partnership to maximum value.
Media and Influencer Support
In doing media relations for startups, Startr Co. will identify appropriate contacts and conduct event-specific outreach to drive attendance. In doing so, our team will also advise clients on how to maximize media and influencer interest by giving recommendations on event timing, offers, etc.
Community Relations
If an event is community-focused, our team can support attendance by conducting research on the ideal groups to invite. We will evaluate potential guests by exploring the local market, its key workplaces and influential community members. We will also identify the best route to success and any potential challenges in meeting our event goals. Armed with this knowledge, we will reach out to all appropriate parties to invite them to the event.
RSVP Management
If a client invests resources in putting on an event, Startr Co. wants to ensure that the event is well attended. Our team can provide informed recommendations on the amount of outreach that is needed to meet RSVP goals, and who those potential event guests may be. We then conduct all outreach and can actively track against results, amending our strategy as need be to get to the numbers we need. We can also work to provide on-site RSVP management as guests arrive.
Run of Show Organization
In preparation for events, Startr Co. puts together all important details in a series of documents that provide information to clients and all parties working on-site. Run of show documents can include: a timeline, recognition sheets with information on special guest attendees, total RSVP information, media briefing information with details on all confirmed media/influencer guests, and key vendor contact information. Our goal is to give clients a quick and easy way to access all of the information they need on the day of.
On-site Support
In addition to planning events, the Startr Co. team can also provide on-site support to help facilitate media and influencer opportunities, greet guests, assist with check in, distribute gift bags, manage photographers/videographers, and more. This added on-site help often gives clients the opportunity to focus on the most meaningful components of any event while we work to make sure everything gets executed to perfection.
Post-Event Reporting
As part of our work in events and public relations for new businesses, Startr Co. prides itself on post-event reporting that showcases the overall results and effectiveness of any event. This reporting includes attendance metrics, media and social media metrics, opportunities in play as a result of the event and more. More than anything, we work to quantify the outcomes of the event while also providing insights and feedback for improvement and potential next steps.
